In remote areas of the world, companies use extremely long trucks to transport building materials, minerals or other goods. These vehicles are often called road trains or land trains, as they are a substitution for trains. These regions might have roads, but no railways, so the only option to transfer heavy loads is a giant truck. The biggest cargo they have ever carried is around 200 metric tons (approx 440.000 pounds). This video show one of these trucks driving in the desert roads in Australia.
